Reading a background check from ProScreening is very simple; each section has its own header and will be listed with or without records.
You will see at the top of the report the in the upper left hand corner the name of the company who ordered the background check report. In the upper right hand corner you will see the contact information for us at ProScreening.
Under the Applicant Information section you will see all of the personal information you were able to provide at the time you signed your disclosure and authorization forms.
You will then see a header with the title Investigative. This is where you will find any criminal records listed if any are applicable. You will see that there are two sub-headers in this section. The first is for a 7 Year County Criminal Search. This is a search of all address history you have had within a 7 year time frame. For more information on the County Criminal Search click here.
The second sub-header is for our InstaCriminal Multi-State Alias Search. The InstaCriminal Multi-State search is an instant database search of criminal records. This database contains millions of criminal records from thousands of sources including State/County courts, Department of Corrections records and Sex Offender registries.
If the company you have applied to work for has requested an Employment Verification or Education Verification, you may also see a header that states Verification. This section will list any verification preformed by ProScreening.
