Drug Screening Turnaround Time

From Order to Scheduled :

Orders placed within business hours are typically scheduled in about an hour from the time it is received. Any orders placed outside of business hours will be scheduled during the next business day. Our Drug Testing team will schedule in the order received.

**All packages that include any background check products will be scheduled AFTER authorization has been received from the applicant.**

From Testing Completed to Results :

The average turnaround time from when a lab-based test is completed at the collection site to the final results being reported is 3 to 5 business days on average. Although unlikely, delays can occur. Be advised, the delays listed below are estimated turnaround times.

• If a specimen encounters delays during shipping, such as weather delays, eScreen will allow up to 5 business days for a specimen to arrive at the lab before a specimen will be considered "Lost in Transit". eScreen will add additional time during severe weather such as natural disasters.
• If a specimen needs to go into the confirmation testing process you will encounter longer than normal turnaround times. Unfortunately, we are unable to give an ETA for these situations as each specimen is different and may require different steps to be taken.
• If a specimen goes into MRO review, the MRO will make 3 attempts, making 1 attempt per day to contact the applicant. Due to HIPAA regulations, the MRO will only speak to the applicant. Results will not be reported until the MRO has spoken with the applicant, or until the MRO has exhausted all attempts to contact the applicant. If at any point you are aware that the MRO is attempting to reach the applicant, we recommend that you provide the applicant with MRO's telephone number, 888-382-2281, and ask them to contact the MRO.

Other delays such as mismatched specimen/COC, altered specimens, etc can occur. We do not have turnaround times we can provide in situations like these, but our team will do our best to update you as much as possible.
